SP’s Message
On behalf of Police fraternity, I warmly welcome you all to the official website of Kaithal Police.
As responsive, quick and alert people’s police, we strongly believe that we stay united in all situations and fight together. In alignment to the mission laid by Haryana police, our endeavor is to make our society better each day by living our commitments for prevention, detection and controlling crime. I am sure Kaithal police on Facebook as www.facebook.com/spKaithal and on twitter as www.twitter.com/Kaithalpolice will further strengthen our engagement.
We pledge the safe keep of our senior citizens, women, children and weaker section of society. Elder citizens can be victims of crime like the rest of us, and especially of physical abuse, financial exploitation, fraud, self neglect and seclusion. A close knit, well informed and aware society prevents our senior citizens to be soft targets of crime.
Women safety is a growing concern across India. Safety is a way of life and has to be taken into consideration in all walks of life– at home and in public places. Kaithal Police has taken several concrete steps towards women safety. Women must understand and accept their importance and power – socially, financially and even legally. Kaithal Police has a Women Helpline No. 1091 available 24x7 and women police station near Pehowa Chowk with telephone number 01746-234009.
We are committed towards preventing discrimination and exploitation of children. Police as well as the public at large require deeper engagement for empowering each child to lead a life of dignity, self-respect and independence, safe from violence and abuse. I would like to encourage parents, teachers and other protective adults to instill healthy self esteem and encourage respect and empathy for others, in children. To our dear children, I would state the simple rule of safety as ABC which stands for Always Be Careful.
We aim to be sensitive yet strive for perceptible decrease in crime in all its forms, whether it is street crime or cyber crime. Please be alert and always follow the smart surfing techniques, email security, security layouts on social networking and chat, Facebook security and mobile safety tips. In addition, better traffic management and improved road safety is our key priority. The objective is to make our roads safer. Accidents do not happen, they are caused. Since safety is not a gadget and is a state of mind, I would request you all to always abide by road safety rules and traffic regulations. We also appeal everyone to have ICE (in case of emergency number) stored in their mobile and to use road accident helpline no 1073/100 in case of emergency.
I would like to deeply emphasize on the fact that we share collective responsibility for the growth of Haryana state. Industrial relations flourish in an open and trustworthy environment. We need to renew our energies and synergies to restructure for better. Changes and challenges would always be hurdles to be conquered. After two attempts, Sir Edmund Hillary challenged Mount Everest - “ I’ll come again. As a mountain you cannot grow but as human I can.” May we all grow together in all our endeavours.
