Arms Licensing Branch
The powers under Arms Act, 1959 which were vested with Superintendent of Police, Kaithal vide Haryana Govt Notification No. S.O.80/H.A.25/2008/Ss.8,9 & 10/2009 dated 26-08-2009. Previously, weapon holder had to run from pillar to post to submit arms license fee and for inspection of the arms. But after all arms license related work is done at the Arms Licensing Branch and inspection of weapon is carried out by a qualified armourer from Police department.
