 MDI Job Fraud Case- Senior Professor from country's top Management Institute receives a mail with a job offer from United Nations
- The professor has worked in the past with UN so was not surprised
- Fake documents sent to establish credibility using UN logo
- Professor's personal information was taken.
- Amount close to 2 lacs was taken for visa processing and other processing fee.
- Once the professor got suspicious they approached Kaithal Police
- The emails were traced to be from Germany
- Account where money was deposited was traced to China
- Detailed search on Internet revealed that it was an organized crime committed against very educated people by the same group across the globe.
